PRODUCTION
How quickly will my standee or bighead be completed?
Please allow 1 business day for production. Complete orders placed before noon on a business day will leave our facility the next business days. Various Shipping Options are available.

PRODUCT INFORMATION
Are the Cardboard Cutout Standees guaranteed?
Yes. We guarantee that you'll be extremely happy with the quality of your cardboard cutout standee or big head. We use the latest printing technology, and go to extremes to ensure that the cutouts we make are top notch. If you're not completely satisfied with the product you receive, please contact us. We will first make every attempt to replace your item at no cost. If we are unable to provide a satisfactory replacement, Cardboard Cutout Standees will provide a full refund.
How do I return my cutout for a refund?
If we are unable to provide a satisfactory replacement, please return your standee to:

Do I need to remove all the background from my photo before sending it?
No, our graphic team will take care of that for you. If you want us to include background just make sure to note it in the “special instructions” when you order. We may have to include some background around the base of the unit to ensure it stands upright.
The picture I am sending for a standee has two people, but I only want one included. Can you do it?
Yes! Ideally the person for the standee should be in front, and not obscured by others in the photo. Just make sure to note it in the “special instructions” when you order. If we have any questions one of our team members will contact you.
The image I have needs to be altered prior to making the standee. Can a member of your staff make changes?
Please note what you would like to have done in the “special instructions” when you order. One of our team members will review the request and contact you with pricing for the graphics work. You will be provided with a proof of your cardboard cutout prior to production. Final approval is required.
I need a standee larger than the sizes you show on your site. Can they be made larger?
The maximum dimensions of our standees are 47" x 95". We can orient your image either portrait or landscape to fit these dimensions. If you want larger than 47" x 95" contact us in regard to quoting a multi-panel standee.
What are the cutouts made of?
Our products are made from 1/8" corrugated cardboard, 3/16 inch foam board, or 3/16 inch corrugated plastic.
What is the finish on the cutouts?
The finish is smooth, non-reflective and semi-glossy. We use UV resistant inks that ensure your standee will not fade.
How do I set up my standee?
Our standees can be unpackaged and set up in seconds. Here is a quick video to walk you through the steps:

CUSTOMIZING
Can I add text to my custom standee?
Yes, we have several options for adding speech bubbles, thought bubbles or signs. You can also include graphics in the images you send us. If you need assistance with custom graphics or lettering contact one of our team members.
Do you offer gift wrapping or gift messages?
Sorry, we do not offer the options of gift wrapping or including a message with your order.
I would like a standee that I would be able to reuse for trade shows. Can you make one with a stand that can be removed so the unit can be folded back up and reused?
Yes! Just select the corrugated plastic material. All plastic units ship with a stand that is attached with velcro for no extra charge!

How much do the standees cost?

I have an upcoming store promotion and will need 10+ standees. Do you provide quantity discounts?
Yes. Please contact a team member via email at info@cardboardcutoutstandees.com and we will provide a custom quote.
Will I receive a proof before my standee is made?
Yes! When you select your standee, select the proof option. Our trained, professional Photo Editor will provide you with a digital proof to approve before printing.
If you don't select the proof option our team of professionals still review every photo that is uploaded. If there are quality concerns about your photo, we will contact you via email.
We guarantee you'll be impressed with the final product.
How do I place an online order at CarboardCutoutStandees.com?
Using our online order system is very simple. The process for uploading your photo is similar to attaching a file to an email message.
For Standees:
- On the homepage, click the “Upload Your Photo” button.
- Enter how many people will be in the finished standee.
- Choose your material.
- Select if you would like to add a speech bubble, thought bubble, or sign. Type the text you would want to add.
- Enter any special instructions.
- Enter Billing and Shipping information. Click Next. Choose Shipping Method. Enter Credit Card information. Submit Order.
To order multiple standees using different photos, upload each image separately and complete the steps for each image.

For BigHeads:
- On the BigHead page, click the “Upload Your Photo” button.
- Select your size.
- Choose your material and enter the quantity.
Can I place my order through email?
If you have a digital image, it is best to order online. If you are unable to complete an order this way, email your photo to info@cardboardcutoutstandees.com
To place an order by email, please send us the following information:

- What size do you want the Standee or Bighead?

- What options do you want to include?
- Billing address. Shipping address. Your phone number.
Do not email credit card information. We will call you to accept payment over the phone.
I don't have a digital image. How can I get a standee or bighead made?
Please scan your photo to create a digital image, and then upload it. We recommend that you scan a standard-sized photo at 1200 pixels per inch. If you don't have a scanner, you can take your photo to an office supply store for scanning services.
Can I mail the photo for my Cardboard Cutout Standee?
Yes. Please contact a member of our team at 1-844-740-8103. We will review the options you would like and provide you with a cost. You will be instructed to send the photo to:

To place an order by mail, please send us the following information:
- Standee or BigHead?
- What is the height you want the product to be?

Do not mail credit card information. We will call you to accept payment over the phone.
We recommend that you place your photo and order information in a photo mailer and write DO NOT BEND on the outside. We will return your photos with the standee.
Acceptance of mailed orders may be temporarily discontinued during the months of November and December based on the volume of orders being received.
I already ordered before and now I want another one, do I have to place a new order?
Yes. To ensure accurate processing, it's best to place a new order through our online system.
We want to set up a standee or bighead that our distributors can order to use in their individual stores. Can you work with us to design and set it up so all of our shops can call or email orders for this unit?

Can I change the picture after I have completed my order?
Please notify Customer Service within 1 hour of placing your order if you wish to change the image. We will cancel your order and issue a refund, so that you can place a new order with the correct image.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept PayPal and all major credit cards: VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
Can I check the status of my order on the website?
Sorry, we do not currently offer the option to check your order status through our website. Please contact us by phone (844-740-8103), online chat, or email info@cardboardcutoutstandees.com for up-to-date information.
I keep getting a message that says "Sorry, the resolution of the image below isn't sufficient for this product." What does this mean?
Unfortunately, this means that the image quality is too low for us to make a high quality cutout. If you get this message, your only option is to try a new image. Low resolution files can't be sufficiently increased in resolution to make them work.
The source of your image can have an impact on the resolution. Files that are texted, emailed or posted online (Facebook, etc.) are oftentimes reduced in size to save space. It's best to use the original version of the photo.
If you've scanned a photo, try re-scanning at a higher quality setting. We recommend that you scan a standard-sized photo at 1200 pixels per inch.

Where do you ship to?
Currently we ship to all United States and Canada locations.

How are the standees shipped?
The standees are scored, folded, and shipped in a box that will meet UPS size requirements. Upon arrival you will lay out the standee on a clean surface and fold out the stand. Our standees are shipped from La Crosse, Wisconsin 54601 using UPS. Not all options are available to all locations. Weekend delivery is not offered. Please do not count weekends, holidays, or the day your order leaves our facility as shipping days.
How are the Bigheads shipped?
The BigHeads are shipped in a box that will meet UPS or USPS size requirements. We may have to score the 24", 36", and 47" to meet this requirement. Our BigHeads are shipped from La Crosse, Wisconsin 54601 using UPS or USPS. Not all options are available to all locations. Weekend delivery is not offered. Please do not count weekends, holidays, or the day your order leaves our facility as shipping days.
Can I have my standees shipped unfolded?
No, we do not offer this option at this time.
Can I have the order shipped to a different location?
Yes. After entering your billing name and information during the checkout process, you can specify that you are shipping to a different location. Once you check this option, the fields will be displayed to enter the shipping name and address.
Please note, if you have multiple Ship-To addresses you will need to place one order per shipping address.
I need to ship standees to each of our stores for an upcoming promotion. Can you ship directly to our store locations?

How much does shipping cost?
For orders shipping to U.S. locations, Cardboard Cutout Standees offers free economy shipping. For faster shipping options, costs are calculated based on shipping location and the shipping method you choose.
CHOOSING PHOTOS
What file type does my photo need to be?
CardboardCutoutStandees.com will accept jpg, pdf or psd files under 40 MB. For JPEG(.jpg) files, we recommend less than 15 MB.
Our online ordering system is set up to accept only files that are big enough to enlarge and print the standee you intend to order. If your uploaded photo is too small or low in resolution, a message will appear indicating such, and a different photo should be selected. Also, if the original photo appears pixelated, blurry, or fuzzy to you on your screen it will appear that way when created into a standee.

What is resolution?
Resolution is the number of dots or pixels that make-up your photo. If your photo contains too few pixels, it is considered low resolution. When your image is uploaded at CardboardCutoutStandees.com, our servers measure the number of pixels, and will let you know if you can continue ordering with that image. We do not accept low resolution images, as the print quality would be unacceptable to us.
Can I print any photo I want?
Yes. However, we are unable to reproduce copyrighted images including art, images or professional photographs without the written permission of the creator. Accepted methods of written permission include:
- an email sent to us that comes directly from the artist, photographer, or their business, indicating their approval for reproduction into a standee.
- written approval on the artist's or photographer's letterhead.
If you have written permission, please contact Customer Service before placing your order. Orders submitted containing suspected copyright images will be canceled and money refunded, and you will be notified via email. If you believe that your order was canceled in error, please contact customer service.
What size should my photo be?
Our trained photo editor will size the image for the standee. If the image isn't compatible with the standee size, we will contact you.
Will my image be edited?
Our Photo Editor reviews every photo, removes the background, and sizes the image to the person’s height you provide when placing the order. This often involves cropping, but we're always careful to avoid losing any important parts of your photo. If we're unable to make your photo work, we will contact you.
If you have concerns about specific items you would like included or removed from your photo, please leave a note in the “Special Instructions”.

Privacy
At Cardboard Cutout Standees, your privacy is of utmost importance to us. The trust of our customers is held in the highest regard, and we DO NOT sell information that we gather to any company, organization, or person outside of our organization.
Information Collection
Cardboard Cutout Standees is the sole owner of the information collected on this web site. We collect information from our customers at several different points on our web site. The information (name, address, phone number, and email address) entered by individuals or businesses that subscribe to our site is maintained in our server database. The email addresses of those who subscribe are stored in a database and are used only to communicate new offers, specials, and information to the subscribers. Photos submitted to CardboardCutoutStandees.com are used only for your Cutout Standee, and are never sold or shared. Photos can be deleted from our archives upon request.
Terms of Use
